Making A Purchase
Nothing contained within these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone or over the Internet through HSBC esecure payments.
We cannot be held responsible for incorrect information being supplied by the customer. We will not be held responsible or liable for failed or late deliveries due to incorrect information being provided by the customer.
By submission of the order the customer accepts the terms and conditions and authorizes Teddy in a Tin through HSBC esecure payments to take payment for teddy selected.
Shipping And Handling
Teddies can be sent either 1st Class Post, 1st Class Recorded Delivery or Guaranteed Day Special Delivery, please choose on checkout.
Guaranteed Specific Working Day Delivery or your money back, Mon-Sat Only (Delivered before 1pm). You can now pay extra for Saturday guaranteed delivery - please choose the option on checkout.
Guaranteed Specific Deliveries days are Monday to Saturday and orders must be received by 1pm . Orders for Monday must be placed by 10am on the previous Saturday.
Fot Recorded and Special Delivery a signature is required. Where Royal Mail has attempted a delivery, and the recipient is not there to receive the package, a card will be left notifying of the delivery attempt. Packages can not be left unattended.
Once the delivery has been signed for at the given address it is no longer the responsibility of Teddy in a Tin. Refunds cannot be given if the Teddytin is not passed on to the named recipient.
We always obtain a proof of posting for 1st Class delivery - but will NOT Be held responsible for any items lost in the post.
Teddies can be sent worldide either by airmail or signed for , please note you cannot specify delivery dates as worldwide delivery and airmail are NOT guaranteed day delivery.
Delivery Schedule
Teddies can be sent either 1st Class or 1st Class Recorded Delivery or Guaranteed Day Special Delivery, please choose on checkout.
If you want your teddy urgently or need it to be delivered on a specific day Mon-Sat PLEASE choose Special Delivery option on checkout. Orders need to be in by 1pm for order to be processed.
We cannot guarantee delivery date if you do not choose Special Delivery option, and we will not be held responsible for delays in 1st class post.
1st Class & 1st Class recorded delivery, within 1-2 working days, recorded delivery will need to be signed for.
All orders shipped via Royal Mail 1st Class will have proof of postage obtained by us. This will be deemed the end of our responsibility for the shipping of all orders. Where orders are traceable, we will endeavour to offer all assistance in supporting you in tracing an item.
Special delivery guarantees delivery the next working day to all but a few remote areas of Scotland.

Orders cannot be shipped or dispatched on Sunday or Public/Bank Holidays.
Please note TeddyinaTin cannot be held responsible for orders delayed extremely bad weather, Royal Mail strikes, Airport staff strikes, Terrorist attacks / Prevention or war.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will (time permitting) contact you to advise you of the situation. Otherwise a suitable alternative of the same or higher value will be dispatched.
Tax Charges
All orders are inclusive of 17.5% VAT.
Credit Card Security
All transactions are processed through HSBC eSecure Payments. We do not store any credit card details on our website.
We reserve the right not to process and order if it is believed the credit card transaction has been made fraudulently.
Payments will show on your statement as Internet Gifts.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. Claims for gifts that are delivered damaged must be reported within 2 days of delivery date. Teddy in a Tin cannot be held responsible for incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Teddy In A Tin do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
Returns Policy
If you wish to cancel an order you can do so by contacting our Customer Services by telephone on 0870 75 86 447 or email customerservices@teddyinatin.co.uk. You will need to contact us before 12pm (noon) on the day of dispatch; your payment received will be refunded less a £1.50 administration charge, and an additional charge of £5.00 if Teddy's tshirt has been printed. . Customer Services are available by telephone between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Refunds or replacements will only be issued for damaged goods. If upon arrival the teddy or tin is damaged we must be informed in writing and the goods retuned by the customer.
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the management, all goods must be returned within 7 working days.
